Adding milestones for your project.

On MyMahotsav, the project management feature helps groups manage events or projects with the groupmates. Create a lifecycle of your projects using milestones. Time mark the different stages of your project with multiple milestones and also help the assigned people to aim for a date to complete the project according to those steps.

To add milestones for the project:

  1. Sign into your MyMahotsav account ( You'll be redirected to your member dashboard. 
  2. Access your groups (Groups for who you are a member or creator of) by:
    • Option 1: Click on Social Groups on the member dashboard.  
    • Option 2: Select Social > Groups from the Navigation pane and then click on My Groups.                                                                         
    • Option 3: Select Groups > My Groups from the profile dropdown menu.  
  3. Click on the group name of the group you want to create a new project for. 
  4. On the redirected page, click on Projects. 
  5. To access the milestones page:
    • Option 1: Click on the Flag icon project you want to add milestones for.
    •  Option 2: Click on the project name to open it. Then click on Milestones. 
  6. Click on Add Milestone. 
  7. Enter the name of the milestone and Due Date. You can edit the text and add links to the milestone description by clicking on the icons above the text box. 
  8. Once you complete, click on Add Milestone. 
  9. The milestone will be added, and you can add another one if you want by clicking on Add Milestone and repeating the above process.
