Within groups you can create projects, tasks, assign them and create discussions. Use our built-in discussion panel to create an open discussion, a group discussion or a private conversation. Note that the admin can always moderate these discussions.

To start a discussion for a project:

  1. Sign into your MyMahotsav account (https://mymahotsav.com/). You'll be redirected to your member dashboard.
  2. Access your groups (Groups for who you are a member or creator of) by:
    • Option 1: Click on Social Groups on the member dashboard.
    • Option 2: Select Social > Groups from the Navigation pane and then click on My Groups.
    • Option 3: Select Groups > My Groups from the profile dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the group name of the group you want.
  4. On the redirected page, click on Projects.
  5. Here you can see all the projects created by the group members.
  6. You can either:
    • Option 1: Click on Project's name and then click on Discussions.
    • Option 2: Click on the second icon under the project name.
  7. Here you can see the discussion treads people have started. To start a new one, click on Add New Discussion.
  8. Enter the discussion title, discussion comments or points and choose for which sub task or milestone you want to start a discussion on.
  9. Check the box near Private, to keep the discussion private for the users you choose. You can also attach files by clicking on Select files and upload the file. Finally choose the people you want by checking the box near their name or click on the box near Select all to choose all the group members.
  10. Once done, click on Add Message.
