How to request a new business feature in MyMahotsav

Your feedback and ideas matter to us! This guide will show you how to request new features and share your innovative ideas, enabling us to continually enhance and improve MyMahotsav based on your valuable input.



How to request a new feature:

 

  1. Go to https://mymahotsav.com/
  2. Navigate to Help > New feature Request. 
  3. On the right hand side you will see a form to complete under Push your idea 
  4. Complete the title, description, Tags, attach an image and check the box to consent to save and process your details according to the Privacy policy and proceed to Push.                    
  5. Once you click on push, your feature request will be sent to an AerialBuz admin and will check and approve it to open it for voting.


Once the feature is open for voting, you can keep check on the status in the Request for feature page.

  • Open indicates that somebody submitted the new idea but the product team has not yet looked into it and it is open for more public votes.
  • Reviewed indicates that the AerialBuz's  product team is actively reviewing the requirement and request, and internally taken up for the meeting and deliberating the business case for it.
  • Approved indicates that the product team has reviewed the requirement, recognized its value, and allocated the necessary development budget. The team is now scheduled to begin working on the request, but they have not yet started the actual development process.
  • In progress means active development has started for the requirement.
  • Declined indicated that the requirement is deemed not to be suitable, or of any business value for the wider community and hence it has been declined by the product team. 
  • Duplicate means they had been some other similar requirement, or it has been covered by some other business case.
  • Completed means the development has been completed and it has been into active production life cycle or has been already implemented into the system.


Useful info:

  • We do urge you to be a descriptive as possible when requesting a feature as this will ensure our team can take efficient and effective action when developing your new feature.  
  • In order for your feature request to be reviewed by our development team, it will need to have at least 20 votes from other members.
