How to create a fundraising campaign?

On MyMahotsav embark on your journey to make a difference! Learn how to create a compelling fundraising campaign, reaching your goals and impacting lives. 

How to create a fundraising campaign:

  1. Sign into your MyMahotsav account (
  2. There are four ways to create a campaign:
    • Option 1: From the navigation pane, select Fundraiser > Raise funds for a cause
    • Option 2: From the profile dropdown menu, select My Fundraising > Create a campaign. 
    • Option 3: On left side of the webpage, click on the arrow next to My Fundraising and then click on Create a campaign. 
    • Option 4: Click on My Fundraising on the Member Dashboard. This opens up your My CrowdFunding Dashboard. Click on Add New Campaign. 
  3. Enter the Title and Description for the campaign. 
  4. Enter a short description which will appear under the campaign name in the campaign listing. 
  5. Choose the category of your campaign. 
  6. Enter Tags. You can enter multiple tags but separate them with commas. 
  7. Upload the Feature Image which is the picture which will appear when people are going through the page where all the campaigns are listed. 
  8. You can also add gallery images to show it on your campaign page. Use the SHIFT key to select multiple images. 
  9. If you want to add a campaign video, just enter the URL in the video text field. 
  10. Choose a Campaign End method from the list. Enter the start date, end date, minimum and maximum amount and the funding goal of the campaign. 
  11. Enter the recommended amount. You can add a predefined amount which allows the user to just click on a button of the donation they want to make. The price should separated by comma (,), example: 10,20,30,40 
  12. You can check the boxes if you want the contributors table to be visible on your campaign page and if you want the contributors to be anonymous 
  13. Choose the country and enter the location of the campaign.  
  14. You also have the option to add rewards for a pledged amount. Upload the image of the reward by clicking on Upload Image near Reward Image. In the text field under Reward, enter a short description of the reward. Choose the estimated delivery month and year and finally the quantity. If you want to add more rewards for a different pledge amount, click on + Add and enter the above details. 
  15. Click on the CAPTCHA. Read the Terms and Conditions and check the box confirming you agree with them. Once done, go through your campaign details and then click on Submit Campaign.  
  16. Your campaign information will be sent over to our team ready to be reviewed and published.
  17. Once your campaign has been made public you will receive an email to confirm this.
