How to create a group and community?

MyMahotsav is a vibrant community designed for individuals who embrace spirituality and religion, seeking to connect, share love, and foster communities and groups where they can freely express and exchange their profound thoughts and insights.

How to form a MyMahotsav group and community:

1. Sign into your MyMahotsav account (https://mymahotsav.com/).
   
2. There are two ways to create a group.
   • Option 1: Visit the profile drop-down menu below your Username and select Groups > Create Group. 
   • Option 2: From the slider on the left hand-side of the webpage, click on the arrow near Groups and then click on Create Group. 
3. You will be asked to complete 6 tabs of information:
   • Details like Group name and description.   
   • Settings like Group privacy settings, permissions and whether this group has a parent group.   
   • To choose to have a discussion forum for your group.   
   • Whether you wan to enable Cloud Docs or not and who can access these docs.   
   • Profile photo for your group.                                                                                                                                            
   • Cover Photo for your group.   
   • Send invites to members of the community. Click on the + icon near the member to send an invite. You can also customize a message to be send along with the invitation.                                                             
4. Once you have completed, your group will be created and you'll be taken to its members page.

Alternatively you can access the form for creating a new group from the group's directory.

• On the Navigation pane, select Social > Groups. You'll be redirected to the groups page. Click on Create a Group.
